Max Tannone has done it again. Real talk, I honestly like this better than Mos Dub. (based on liking Talib better than Mos, it’s not anything Max did) A lot of the same stuff applies here though. This album is so solid, it’s airtight. You could use this album to survive in space. Like Mos Dub, if you did not know Dub Kweli was a remix because you were told or familiar with the source material, you’d never know. Likewise, I remain not a reggae fan, but I am totally sold on it here. Max just makes it work. Like his previous albums, Dub Kweli passed the 72 point inspection of quality for remix skills.
